We welcome the addition of Steam forums as a valuable tool of gathering feedback.” “Players of Eternium on mobile devices are already active on our Discord server providing feedback and suggestions. How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process? Eternium is free to play and all in-game purchases are purely optional.” “Price will not change when we leave Early Access. Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? End-game events, activities, and game modes. The core gameplay is fully implemented. What is the current state of the Early Access version? Also we want to add new unique and set items to increase the variety of builds and gameplay styles.” This new world will feature new monsters and bosses. “We plan to add an additional world to the existing four worlds. New content and features arising from community suggestions may extend this deadline.” “Between 6 to 9 months will be required to finish the content we have currently planned. The valuable information and suggestions provided by Early Access players will help us polish the game and enrich the universe of Eternium.”Īpproximately how long will this game be in Early Access? Therefore, the obvious conclusion is that they chose not to.Īlso, that "duh" bit is intended to be rude, so maybe Travis can explain why that's acceptable.“As a small team of indie developers, we have been acting on feedback provided by players since the very early stages of development. They could have had big 6/6 effects when they designed the sets, but they obviously didn't. That is, the devs could have had powerful synergistic doubling effects tied to Shield/Block and DW Parry, but they didn't. It's a low ceiling, and I think that's by design. None of this agonizing farming for Assault / Apprentice, with the inevitable complaint that you can't get that last something to complete the set. That said, Defender gives a Shield Bonus, and Jugger is non-Shield. I'm curious to see if the coin will drop now, or if you will reply back "duh but I like the warrior!".I said that it's possible that Warrior bonuses were toned down so to facilitate the ability to get a "best" set from practically any combination of items, rather than having them be so strongly layered as in Mage/BH, that certain combinations become almost mandatory. I'm curious to see if the coin will drop now, or if you will reply back "duh but I like the warrior!".īut I am looking for something that isn't there: meaningful set bonuses. Zero skill synergy from bonuses, zero incentive to use anything but the crutches. The situation in the Warrior's sets is so dire, that in order to compete, you have to use the dull "+280 power" and "+75% Crit damage" bonuses. They are good enough in their implementation, that people don't have to resort to the crutch Adventurer's set with its unimaginative "+ lotsa damage" bonuses. In Mage/BH you get sets with useful synergies that shape your gameplay. You either have difficulty expressing what you really want to say, or you completely miss the whole point of having a "Feedback and Suggestions" forum (or you are just trolling). What do you mean "they are not supposed to matter"? Are you implying that the intention of the devs was to introduce sets for the Warrior that people should not use? OK, and I'm saying that maybe they are not supposed to matter, so OP may be looking for something that isn't there. But I am looking for something that isn't there: meaningful set bonuses.
